Grants were again made to Four Towns Transport - the local Community Transport scheme, the Volunteer Bureau, Freespace and Play Days, all of which arose from the concerted efforts of the North Fringe Local Councils Forum The grant/ service agreement was continued to the Toy Library and North Bristol Advice Centre.
The advice centre is able to carry out home visits and this year began offering a session on Monday mornings.
£84,336.93 was raised as a direct result of the Little Stoke session and £1,165,963.81 raised in total in 2007
Last year the Council also made grants to the Royal British Legion, the Eventide and Friendship Clubs, S Glos. Senior Citizens. Playlink for a play scheme for disabled children and a camp for primary age children: Alzheimers, Vitalise and Victim Support. |
