Bus Shelters
Date | Aug 14, 2008 - 11:10:21 AM
The Parish Council has 26 bus shelters... Its regime of cleaning was severely disrupted this year, by a combination of mechanical breakdown and staff absence (sickness and training). As part of the Greater Bristol Bus Network funding, some of the shelters will be replaced in order to enable the stops to have real time information - especially on the 73 route. Please contact the council to report any damage to bus shelters.
Bus Shelter opposite Stoke Park A resident reported that this very old shelter is not only still used as an advertising hoarding for event posters, but is now also used regularly as a toilet. The Council is seeking the advice of its supplier with a idea of obtaining a cantilever shelter, and is asking South Gloucestershire Council to consider installing a shelter at the north bound bus stop.
