Bus and Rail links to central Bristol are good nevertheless there are proposals to improve services to other areas with UWE acting as a hub. Bristol Parkway station is an important station for local trains to Filton Abbeywood, Patchway or Temple Meads as well as trains plying national Great Western and Cross Country routes. Little Stoke lies between Stoke Gifford and the A38 a major route in the South West and the A4174 Ring Road lies to the west and links to the M32, Bristol's major route to the M4 motorway.
