Review Areas

If you are in an area where changes are being considered, you will be formally invited to respond to the consultation. In review areas households will receive a leaflet outlining the proposals relevant to where they live. Local councillors, the business community and community and voluntary organisations in the review areas will also be invited to share their views on the proposals.

The first four review area consultations go live today on the South Gloucestershire Consultation website. They relate to the following proposals:

  • Stoke Park and Cheswick – consultation on a new parish council
  • Charlton Hayes – consultation on a new parish council
  • Kingswood – consultation on a new town council for the unparished area of Kingswood
  • Staple Hill and Mangotsfield – consultation on a new parish council for the unparished area of Staple Hill and Mangotsfield

The remaining review area consultations will go live on a staggered basis over the next couple of weeks and I will contact the town and parish clerks to advise when they go live.

The terms of reference for the review can be viewed on the CGR webpage www.southglos.gov.uk/cgr and access to the online consultation portal can be made via the following link www.southglos.gov.uk/consultation
