Part Time Caretaker/Maintenance Operative at Little Stoke Community Centre

We are hiring! Join our team as a part time (25 hours per week on a 7-day rota system) Caretaker/Maintenance Operative based at Little Stoke Community Centre.
Duties would include:
- Undertake maintenance duties at the Parish Council community centres (Little Stoke & Brooklands Park).
- Ensure Community Centre is adequately ready for hire.
- Liaise with contractors on site.
- Be responsible for the ordering of spares and consumables of mechanical and electrical items within budget and for the safe storage of all items.
- Maintain records and perform statutory checks for all plant and equipment and reporting any defects to the Parish Clerk.
- Undertake litter collections at Parish Council grounds and ensure the Parish bus shelters are maintained.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations when undertaking Council duties.
- Acting as a point of contact for residents, and anyone else utilising the Council’s grounds.
- Have a good working knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation.

Part Time (25 hours per week) Administrator

We are hiring! Join our team as a Part Time (25 hours per week) Administrator.
Duties would include:
Undertake bookings and invoicing for the new Brooklands Park Community Centre.
Provide a reception service within a small parish office.
Marketing support and assisting in updating the Parish Council Website, noticeboards and newsletters.
Assist in maintaining financial information relating to the work of the Parish Council.
Provide updates at Parish Council committee meetings as required.
Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system.
Maintain a supply of stationery and associated office/maintenance equipment.
Assist in times of absence for the Parish Council Admin/Finance Officer.
