Local volunteers build new bird boxes and a bug hotel

Local volunteer and friend to the Parish Council Tim Hewer was joined by volunteers from MOD Filton Abbeywood and together they built seven new bird boxes and a bug hotel.
The volunteers also helped find homes for 15 bird boxes of various types around the parish.
The next working day in the spring it is planned to build some owl boxes, hedgehog boxes and bat boxes to be installed around the parish.
