Temporary Road Closures: Filton Lane and Harry Stoke Road, Stoke Gifford

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles, pedal cycles and equestrians the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.

This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon Arena ducting works on or adjacent to the highway. The order will be operative from 4 November 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 6 weeks duration.

Schedule:

Filton Lane - that length which extends from its junction with A4174 Filton Road in an easterly direction to its roundabout junction with Harry Stoke Road

Harry Stoke Road - that length which extends from its roundabout junction with Filton Lane to its junction with A4174 Filton Road
