Temporary Road Closure for Surfacing Works
Renelec Groundworks - 16th June 2025
We are writing to notify you of the essential surfacing works that are scheduled to take place at Brooklands Park in the coming weeks. These works will involve Oxleigh Way and Clover Way. To ensure the safe and efficient completion of these works, it will be necessary to close some roads for the entirety of the day.
Please refer to the attached diagram outlining the affected roads and corresponding dates. When roads are closed throughout the day please use alternative access, either through Westfield Lane or Stoke Gifford Bypass (formerly known as Rosedown Drive).
For Night Closure there will only be access for emergency Vehicles once the road is closed.
The road closures will be in effect from 8am until approximately 5pm, during which access will not be permitted. However, footpaths leading to the area will remain open for pedestrians.
To facilitate the smooth progress of the work and safeguard your property, we kindly request that all vehicles be relocated from the affected area before the commencement of work. Once the surfacing activities have been finalised and the road has been certified safe for reopening, you will regain normal access to your property. We respectfully suggest that you ensure that you park considerately and in accordance with legal regulations when selecting an alternative parking spot during these closures.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your anticipated cooperation and understanding. These improvements are vital for improving road quality and ensuring safety standards.
