Parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in. These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and they encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; they welcome everyone.
South Gloucestershire Council has secured funding for this exciting initiative and have chosen Little Stoke Park as their preferred location. Local volunteers are currently being sought to help out on Saturday mornings to enable these events to go ahead and become a success. Anyone wishing to help out should contact the Parish Clerk.
