Lockdown Update 5 Jan 2021

Stoke Gifford Parish Council Office at Little Stoke Community Hall, is open (although restrictions on access and opening times are in place).

The Community Hall will be closed to the public and the Office will be open to residents for essential Parish Council business only.

The Community Café will be open for takeaways. Please note there is no public toilets open during the lockdown period.

Parish Council Office opening hours Monday to Friday 09:00-12:00.

Little Stoke Playing Fields car park will be open Monday to Friday 07:30-21:30, at weekends 08:00-21:30.

Stoke Gifford Parish is located in the north of Bristol and to the west of the M32 and south of the M4 motorway. The parish's 1717 acres comprises Stoke Gifford, Little Stoke, Harry Stoke, UWE, Stoke Park and the Cheswick housing development. There are twelve elected councillors who were duly elected in May 2019 to serve its 15,500 plus inhabitants for a term of 4 years. The Parish office is located at the Little Stoke Community Hall, Little Stoke Lane, Little Stoke, BS34 6HR.

What is a Parish Council?

Parish Councils are the first tier of local government and the closest to the community they serve. As a tier of local government they are elected bodies, with discretionary powers and rights laid down by Parliament to represent their communities and provide services for them.
